چکیده
Abstract Curing of colorectal cancer (CRC) occurs at the time resection but it is not immediately observable. If completely eliminated, patient will be cured and experience recurrence as tumor has regrown to a detectable size. The main propose present study was assess effects different covariates on probability being well time-to-recurrence, time-to-death in CRC patients by using multi-state cure model. information 283 with CRC, who underwent resection, from 2000 2015 Imam Khomeini Hospital Hamadan, Iran, were analyzed. results model reveal that females metastasis more likely apparently cured. It been shown sex significant effect time-to-recurrence given group. survival group affected stage disease. However, age diagnosis status. provided flexible framework prognostic factors simultaneously transition between states CRC.

Risk factors for cancer recurrence or death within 6 months after liver resection in patients with colorectal cancer liver metastasis
PURPOSE The aim of this study was to find risk factors for early recurrence (ER) and early death (ED) after liver resection for colorectal cancer liver metastasis (CRCLM). METHODS Between May 1990 and December 2011, 279 patients underwent liver resection for CRCLM at Korea University Medical Center. They were assigned to group ER (recurrence within 6 months after liver resection) or group NER...

Solving a Joint Availability-Redundancy Optimization Model with Multi-State Components with Meta-Heuristic
This paper has been worked on a RAP with multi-state components and the performance rate of each component working state may increase by spending technical and organizational activities costs. Whereas RAP belongs to Np-Hard problems, we used Genetic algorithm (GA) and simulated annealing (SA) and for solving the presented problem and calculating system reliability universal generating function ...
متن کاملMACC1 mRNA levels predict cancer recurrence after resection of colorectal cancer liver metastases.
OBJECTIVE Upon colon cancer metastasis resection in liver, disease outcome is heterogeneous, ranging from indolent to very aggressive, with early recurrence. The aim of this study is to investigate the capability of metastasis associated in colon cancer 1 (MACC1) levels measured in liver metastasis specimens to predict further recurrence of the disease. METHODS Gene expression and gene dosage...
متن کاملPredictors of early recurrence after resection of colorectal liver metastases
BACKGROUND Early recurrence after resection of colorectal liver metastases (CLM) is common. Patients at risk of early recurrence may be candidates for enhanced preoperative staging and/or earlier postoperative imaging. The aim of this study was to determine if there are any risk factors that specifically predict early liver-only and systemic recurrence. METHODS Retrospective analysis of prosp...
